But its important!

I have a customer who recently advised us that the availability of a certain server and the network around that certain server, was worth hundreds of millions of dollars a year to them and therefore, it needs redundancy, security etc etc.  Now that’s all well and good (having come from my last job where some of the businesses only exist because of the Internet) and I completely understand that. 

What I don’t understand is when they want to test a QoS device on the network with that server.  Note the operative word: test.  No, it can’t ever go down, but sure, we can go testing to see if this box makes life good for us   Needless to say, I’ll be voicing my concerns when I meet with them today.
