slightly brighter note
On a slightly brighter note, we had the first quote for the repairs to our car. The manager of the repair shop we wenet to for this one, said that it was very unlikely the damage was malicious. Apparently even the most retarded person wouldn't be trying to break into the car and cause that much damage in that area. So that's good news I guess.
Quote so far is upwards of $500. Gotta go get a second quote at some stage asap, then put an insurance claim in *sigh*. Shitty thing is, no matter what, it'll cost us $300 to cover the excess, better thing is, we have rating 1 for life ;)

Well, at least it's just $300 and not the full amount. Hope your car gets fixed up soon. Still sucks, malicious or not. I had my car keyed and even that drove me crazy. I don't know why people do stupid stuff. My old car was smashed in on the side when someone hit it while it was parked and drove away. Nice. I hate people sometimes. And I hate spending money on my car. :-P
