Big Easty Weekend

Easter weekend finally came and went. Our friends bought us tickets to a music festival in Sydney called The Great Escape. It's sorta like Woodstock or an extended and camp-in Big Day Out and to be honest, as square as it might sound, it's the first music festival of any kind that I've been to, so I'm really glad our friends decided that this should be "baby's first concert" :D



Despite being knee deep in mud with all the rain, our ponchos kept us really dry so there was no dampening our spirits :) Even when it pissed down while we were walking to the car, we were still toasty warm and happy. If I hadn't already said it enough, thanks for taking us, guys!! :)



Aside from the festival, it was obviously Easter weekend (it was even Orthodox Easter this weekend - the whole hog!) so it was really good to spend it with Batty's family. This was our last trip without carrying a stroller and a shitheap of nappies *laugh* Hopefully the next trip is in July when I'm heading back to Sydney for a course for work - Cody will be 10 days old at the earliest.



Well, that's my update for the day .. I'm off to watch Little People, Big World :P
