So long between drinks!

I’ve been pretty shocking of late with updates.  Here we are though, another year, another Christmas and another birthday fast approaching.

Christmas this year brought our traditional 12 days of Christmas and many more days of “I couldn’t wait to give this to you” from both of us   There was a major difference this year with Christmas though – in the form of a 6 month old, learning all about Christmas!  Cody had a ball and is a big, big fan of wrapping paper

New Year’s brought a quiet night with the Superheroes and a few other friends.  Apparently it wasn’t a quiet enough night for Batty and I – we were already sick but kind of recovering beforehand and were back to being pretty sick again on New Year’s Day.  Cody’s managed a minor miracle in not getting sick even though we both have been!

Cody had a different way of celebrating the new year.  On January 1, she suddenly had teeth on the bottom!  Initially, I was fairly sure she’d installed razor blades in her gum.  Then I thought about it a bit more rationally and assumed I had a little cut or something on my finger that was stinging.  When I had “cuts” on 4 fingers, I wrenched her little mouth open, forced her tongue out of the way and went bolting into the other room to show Batty the newfound teeth

Tomorrow brings around another birthday for me.  It’s an almost big one this year – 29   That’s “nearly 30”  

Since the timing of coming off my restrictions on the bike is so close to my birthday, I’ll be spending an hour on a Triumph Street Triple to see how it feels.  If it’s a good fit, hopefully Batty can jump on for a ride to see ow she feels too, and then we’re all good to go down to one bike between us   If it’s not a good fit, I have plenty more bikes on my list of coveted bikes, so there’s plenty .. plennnnty of time to sort that out

Anyways .. my beloved honey has just arrived home with some McDonald’s sundaes so I’m off!
