Singin' Sweet Home Alabama all summer long ..

Does it get much better? :)

I am back in the poolhall, on the 'Net, listening to Kid Rock and kicking back on a comfy couch in the airconditioning.

In the main square here in Zaharo, which our hotel is opposite, is a tiny old lady who is apparently a hundred years old. Blithe old lady she is. She lives out in the square, all her belongings under a tree.

The old lady's a funny little one. Because she is out in the square, when there's something going on in the square, it disturbs her. So, every Friday and Saturday night, all the locals come out and kick it up as people would normall do when the weekend hits. Why its any different here for a weekend, I'm not sure since they don't all seem to work/go to school anyways :P

So anyways, the old lady got disturbed on Saturday night because the shenanigans kicked on until about 2am. On Sunday night, she was STILL doing laps of the street, telling people off about it ;) I walked in between her and some other guy, who she was apparently telling to go to hell about something :P Seems she has a mouth on her too *laugh*

Don't get me wrong, the old lady isn't weird or anything, she's just VERY old school. One of those truly ethnic old women that you might be afraid of if you had done something really bad in life :P

Well, my little companion (kid who has been talking to me while his dad uses the 'Net) has nicked off, so I am going to follow suit. It's time for coffee and sweets now that siesta is over ;)

I have only one comment and one comment only.... WTF with kid rock, you spoilt my whole mental picture of your holiday :P

Ok, second comment, stay away from old potty mouth lady, Yayas are scary at any time, worse when they are not afraid to use phrases un-becoming of them.
