taking it upon ourselves

Gotta love when people take it upon themselves to give information on something they don't understand and then give wrong information because of the misunderstanding.

Probably be less stressful on the whole for everyone if those that didn't understand, just asked questions first, then gave the information with the input from those that do understand.
