.... satisfaction got it back ;)

Our friend DND had to sit an exam as part of his probation .. We opted for CIT (part of the CCNP ensemble) since its the most likely to demonstrate understanding rather than the ability to regurgitate information.

DND asked for a couple of study days the week before the one just finished where he was meant to sit it. Oddly, he asked for Monday and Tuesday which I thought as probably being a study day and then a day to sit the exam. Apparently not. DND was back in on Tuesday claiming that he was meant to have sat it on Tuesday but hadn't received confirmation ......... You get confirmation online (and I suspect by phone) pretty quickly. Like immediately.. Like when you book your exam, you pay for it and so unless anyone tells you otherwise, you rock up for the exam time you've paid for.

So, there were claims that he was expecting to sit the exam later in the week instead, and that he was just waiting for that good ol' confirmation. Now, it might be a little bit of an assumption at this point, but that doesn't really sound like a viable story to me. My suspicion is that DND sat the exam on the Monday and failed.

So, since Monday 7th was the last day to sit the exam, by Wednesday just gone we were wondering when he was going to ask for study leave to take the exam. Sure enough, Thursday morning there was a leave form for Friday :) DND was indeed, sitting his exam on Friday. I have my suspicions about a pass or fail ;)

But anyways. I'll be sure to update everyone on whether it really is a pass or fail *grin*
