crazy kinda feeling

I'm not sure if I'm just the only crazy person on earth, but sometimes I feel like the world is passing me by.  Like something's happening in the background and there's people whispering all around me, and they stop when I walk past. 

Paranoia:
 - An irrational fear, suspicion, or distrust of others.
 - Suspicion of others that is not based on fact.

What do you call it when something *is* based on fact then?  Like when you walk past and people DO stop whispering when you walk past?  Its the same as the famous "minimised window" on a computer .. the telltale "you're not meant to see this" action.  Actually, that's probably more what I feel like sometimes   See, crazy huh?
