death by chocolate .. n stuff

Yesterday was quite the social day. We did the two hour drive to Lameroo to see Sally and Mark and that was fantastic :) The drive was just a *little* too long at a bit over two hours, but it was good to take Mistress (new car) out on a nice long drive.

On a stretch of road with nothing but road and trees in site, Batty managed to get the car up to a happy 160km/h with more left in the lil girl :D

*listening to lawnmowing incidents outside* shouldn't be hearing sounds of glass-y type stuff breaking :P

So yeah .. Lameroo yesterday.. Had some lunch with Sal and Mark and saw little Georgie, who's Sally's puppy. Georgie can get in quite a mood when Georgie wants to ;)

Got home and Batty finished up the chocolate tiramisu that we made on Friday night ready for the chocolate party we were going to last night. I've gotta say, I kind of expected parties and bbqs n stuff with management from my old work to be fun - they were just that kind of people. But, the chocolate party last night being at my manager's place was an absolute surprise. I expected to rock up, have an ok time and then head home as soon as we could.

On the contrary however. We got there, met everyone, ate, drank, watched a few episodes of "Blacks Books" and generally had a really good time :) We finally trudged home at about 11ish - was a *very* long day with a LOT of chocolate!
