Secrets

Once we returned from our Easter trip, I went into top gear planning a bunch of secrets for Batty's birthday.

The plan was originally to fly Batty and her brother Stoffo up to Sydney one Friday night/Saturday morning for a combined 100th birthday dinner with the three of them, somewhere special. One thing led to another and eventually I had flights booked, both brothers in town (and not working), time with friends (staying with our favourite Sar and Sparky) and time with family.

So, on the Friday morning, Grunge and I got Renee onto a plane, then Grunge spent the day at daycare. I went home and madly started phase 2 with our friend KD. Painting :P Phase 3 would be Saturday with Wonderwoman and Glen: rangehood installation ;)

It was a super massive effort by everyone to get it pulled off, but everything I'd planned was finished (at least to as close as it could be!) and looked fantastic, ready for Renee's arrival home on Sunday night.
