HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Here we are, the start of 2007 and the start of many more things to come.

In amongst everything else we did towards the end of 2006, by far the biggest things were celebrating our 8th anniversary and finding out that Batty was pregnant on the same day

We are currently about 13 weeks (here for more specific information) and our due date is 07/07/07 .. how cool is that?

At this stage, we’ve told immediate family, close friends and inner circle family.  We couldn’t really go out and announce it to the world before we’d told our respective parents, and to tell the truth, that was a little daunting for one side.  Glad that part’s over!

So, with all the formalities out of the way, we can now stop hiding things from people

If you’re reading this and you thought you should have been one of the people who knew sooner, rest assured that not very many people at all knew prior to the last week or so *grin*.

That’s our main news.. Other than that, we spent our first Christmas in Sydney in 4 years with Batty’s family.  Made a nice change to be over there again, I must say   Our road trip there and back was particularly quick and incident free, with the exception of our cruise control dying which I’m none too pleased about.  *growl*

For the time being, we’re sitting at home and enjoying the rest of our break - back at work on the 8th
